The SIMPPAR exhibition was held in Paris, early June 2022. SIMPPAR is a tradeshow focusing on fragrance ingredients and we were proud to be exhibitors. This was the first time the exhibition could be held after a break due to the pandemic and it was a pleasure to be back and to meet so many clients, partners and future clients too. It was also the 30th anniversary of SIMPPAR so another opportunity to celebrate with our partners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to official figures from SIMPPAR, there were : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u2022\u00a0106 exhibitors from 23 countries<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u2022\u00a0more than 2,300 entries over the 2 days<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u2022\u00a0200 perfumers, one third of them from abroad<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We highlighted a selection of our fragrance materials at SIMPPAR, including frankincense and Nez <\/a>magazine featured us in their feature article: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“At PCW, it is by a family that I am being introduced to the nuances of the different varieties of frankincense: Boswellia occulta<\/em>, which is quite aldehydic, Carterii<\/em>, which is more classic, Boswellia sacra<\/em>, also known as the green incense or luban<\/em> in Oman, and finally the Papyrifera<\/em>, very fresh and evoking verbena. Despite being known for its medicinal properties, I never had the chance to smell it before. The leathery note of Commiphora myrrha<\/em> reminds me of \u2026 a diving suit! The Himalayan costus, with its osmanthus facets and its feminine leathery notes is a scent to remember!
