SIMPPAR 2024 In Grasse

For the first time, SIMPPAR, the premier exhibition for fragrance materials, was held in Grasse on the 28 and 29 May. This year we were delighted to participate in our local environs, as it provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the rich history and heritage of the Grasse region. Each year SIMPPAR provides us with an opportunity to meet our partners, colleagues and new clients. The Grasse location also meant that many of the PCW staff were able to attend the event.

This year we exhibited a wide selection of fragrance ingredients encompassing molécules naturelles, bases de parfumerie and naturals. Our Natural Molecules included maltol nat, geraniol nat, coumarin nat, and raspberry ketone nat. These molecules are sourced with care from the best producers. Xavier Blaizot, our CEO and perfumer, says that “these ingredients act as a game changer in the world of perfumery and flavour composition. It opens up a whole new spectrum of possibilities to creators.”

Our perfumery bases, which have proved very popular on our online ingredients store, were also showcased, including incense church base, whisky, monoi, rice, and pistachio. Additionally, we highlighted pure naturals such as black pepper SCFE (super critical fluid extraction), ginger CO2, turmeric leaf and root, beeswax and beehive.

We respect each other’s work and ethics are placed firmly within our business.“
