Visit to IFEAT Conference 2022

The PCW dream team of Eléonore THORE, Patrice Blaizot and Xavier Blaizot had a wonderful experience at the IFEAT conference, held recently from the 13-16th of October in Vancouver.

IFEAT is the international federation of essential oils and aroma trades, and includes over 670 members in 70 countries. The federation covers every facet of the value chain from farmers to consumers and products, including those from the fragrance, flavour, aromatherapy and cosmetic industries. 

Even though the conference is held annually, it had been postponed for two years due to COVID, so for this reason the team was really excited to be back. Each year a different continent is the host, so North America was the choice this year with Vancouver the selected city. 

Due to PCW’s expertise in the trade of fragrance materials, the IFEAT conference is always booked into the calendar and is highly anticipated. It is considered the optimal meeting place with our partners and the highlight for businesses who work in the ingredients ecosystem. The team always returns energised with connections, new ideas and inspiration.

The conference was extremely busy for the team, with meetings scheduled with clients from all over the globe. The opportunity to reconnect with partner companies and to also forge new connections is a real pleasure. It is also a great place to see what is new and interesting for PCW, in regards to materials and trends. 

The location definitely helps and the team agreed that Vancouver is a beautiful city with great sights, scenery and hospitality.

The team is already looking forward to next year’s edition and hopes to see you there.
